Annually the SAB&T FOUNDATION undertakes audits of Non-Profit Organisations, pro-bono or at reduced rates.

Here are some of our previous beneficiaries:

Groote Schuur Hospital Facility Board

SAB&T FOUNDATION sit on the Board of the Groote Schuur Facility Board. The Board are custodians of funds received from the public.

They administer the funds and authorise payments on behalf of the hospital. In addition SAB&T FOUNDATION also provide technical support to the finance department of the Board.

Mustadafin Foundation

Mustadafin sees itself as a servant of the communities in which it operates and bases its core functions on the needs of the oppressed.

It operates through: Education, Poverty eradication, Health, Community Development and Disaster relief.

Cape Town Hindu Seva Samaj

Central Muslim Burial

The Central Muslim Burial Service is a non-profit organization that renders burial services to the Muslim community of Tshwane (Pretoria).  Their aims and objectives are to establish, operate and maintain Muslim Burial Services, including assistance in releasing of a deceased from hospital or mortuary, transporting to Ghusal Centre, assistance in performance of Ghusal if requested, as well as assisting with all other arrangements necessary.

Chrysalis Academy Trust

Chrysalis Academy is an initiative of the Western Cape Provincial Cabinet, established in the year 2000 at Porter Estate in the suburb of Tokai. Its foundation was a response by the Provincial Government to the high crime rate in the Western Cape, especially due to substance abuse and an active gang culture in Cape Town’s mainly disadvantaged communities. The Chrysalis Programme is a preventative initiative, as opposed to rehabilitative.

Harold Cressy High School

Harold Cressy High School is a secondary school in District Six of Cape Town in South Africa. The school has played a substantial role in South African history during the apartheid period and the building is identified as an important landmark.

SAB&T FOUNDATION perform audit work for the Harold Cressy High School Alumni on a pro bono basis.

Imam Abdullah Haron Education Trust

The Imam Abdullah Haron Education Trust (IAHET) invites students, irrespective of race, gender or creed, who are enrolled at tertiary institutions, and wish to apply for bursaries.

Since the programme was launched in 2006, the IAHET has already allocated bursaries totalling R1 236 500 to 243 students.

Northern Muslim School

The Northern Muslim school is a non-profit organisation based in Polokwane.

SAB&T FOUNDATION conducts audit services on a pro bono basis.

Polokwane Muslim Trust

The P.M.T. Welfare Fund (P.M.T.W.F) started in 2009 as a subsidiary of Polokwane Muslim Trust which is a Public Benefit Organisation. It comprises of 22 members who all serve on a voluntary basis.

The office is run on a full time basis to discuss problems relevant to the Muslim community of Polokwane and to help the poor, needy and destitute.

Sandton Islamic Association

The Sandton Islamic Association was formulated during that Ramadaan with the primary objective of setting up a Jamaat Khanna in the Sandton area. The association identified the following long term goals: Converting the Jamaat Khanna into a Mosque and Establishing a Madressah.

The Sandton Islamic Association has been successful in meeting these goals.

Siyafunda Trust

The Siyafunda Trust was established in the year 2001, primarily as a Da’wah based organisation whose objective and purpose was to convey the message of the Creator (Allahu Subahaanuhu Wa Ta Aalaa) to the creation, generally, and to the citizens of South Africa, specifically.

The Big Issue

The Big Issue is a socially responsible non-profit organisation that enables willing unemployed and marginalised adults to take responsibility for their own lives through a developmental employment programme.

Tsholanang Community Development Centre

Tsholanang Community Development Centre is a community-based (CBO), non-profit organisation (NPO). They provide support services and a safe haven for orphans as well as other vulnerable children from 4 to 13 years of age.

Ukhamba Projects

Ukhamba is a Non-Governmental Organization and was established to fight HIV and AIDS in the country. As a result it is regarded as the first organization in Queenstown, Lukhanji Municipality to raise HIV and AIDS awareness, to do door to door campaigns, distributing condoms and breaking the HIV and AIDS silence. Furthermore, Ukhamba is regarded as the first organization in Queenstown to penetrate the prisons by providing HIV and AIDS care, support and counselling.

University of Western Cape

SAB&T FOUNDATION sit on the Committee, which discusses, amongst other matters, ways of improving the pass rate of Accounting students at the University, especially the Honours students to enable them to write the FQE exam.

The Committee deals with the allowances paid to Chartered Accountants who lecture at universities.

South African National Zakah Fund

The SA National Zakáh Fund (SANZAF) is a faith-based, socio-welfare and educational organisation that strives to facilitate the empowerment of needy families through the efficient collection and effective distribution of Zakáh and other Sadaqát in a proactive and cost-effective way through projects – with dignity, sincerity and shared responsibility.
